The School Home Connection Kits are a combination of Quick60 Factual Books, School Home Connection Booklets, and photocopiable parental explanations in English or Spanish.

They are designed to give students the opportunity to revise, consolidate, and extend what they have learned through reading each Quick60 book.

The School Home Connection Booklets are also designed to encourage parents to work alongside their children so that they can understand what their children are learning at school and also see the progress they are making. A further benefit is that some parents who have been previously illiterate are learning to read by working alongside their children as they complete the activities in the booklets.

Although the School Home Connection Booklets are designed to be used at home, some teachers prefer to use them as independent follow-up work at school before sending them home.
